I love booking trips with Choke Canyon Charters and Chase because he has so much enthusiasm for fishing. It's absolutely infectious. I'm 60 years old and while I like to think I still know a lot about the electronics side of fishing, in reality the younger generation is so far ahead it's crazy. I love getting electronics tutorials from him while fishing. His knowledge using his equipment not only to find fish but teach you how to trigger the bites is absolutely amazing and makes the day so much more enjoyable.

Chase has been an eager student of the game for several years. He has mastered the finer points of finding and catching quality fish. He might be a young fella but he has put the time on the water to earn the respect of many seasoned veterans.

I've fished with Matt from Southeast Louisiana to South Texas catching everything from Redfish to Bass, Trout to Crappie. You won't find a more enthusiastic or energized guide anywhere. After his family purchase their ranch in Three Rivers, Matt obviously choose Choke Canyon as his home lake. Being a quick study, it didn't take him long to master the lake. I would recommend anyone from kids to old salts like me to fish with him.

I hired Chase with Choke Canyon Charters to help my son Koop improve his performance for tournament fishing. Over the past 6 months my son has improved tremendously and he has consistently placed higher in every tournament. Chase worked with Koop on casting, tournament techniques, proper fishing etiquette, fishing patterns for different times of year and helped him develop fishing strategies for multiple lakes and in varying conditions. He is a very well mannered, personable and he teaches his clients with positive reinforcement. I highly recommend him as a guide for the novice or experienced fisherman.
