I've fished with Matt from Southeast Louisiana to South Texas catching everything from Redfish to Bass, Trout to Crappie. You won't find a more enthusiastic or energized guide anywhere. After his family purchase their ranch in Three Rivers, Matt obviously choose Choke Canyon as his home lake. Being a quick study, it didn't take him long to master the lake. I would recommend anyone from kids to old salts like me to fish with him.

I hired Chase with Choke Canyon Charters to help my son Koop improve his performance for tournament fishing. Over the past 6 months my son has improved tremendously and he has consistently placed higher in every tournament. Chase worked with Koop on casting, tournament techniques, proper fishing etiquette, fishing patterns for different times of year and helped him develop fishing strategies for multiple lakes and in varying conditions. He is a very well mannered, personable and he teaches his clients with positive reinforcement. I highly recommend him as a guide for the novice or experienced fisherman.
